Magna Carta PNG Inc's aim is to educate, empower and embrace human rights through four pillars - Protection, Reporting, Education, and Awareness of Human Rights in PNG (PREA).

Magna Carta PNG Inc (MCPNGI) is an independent human rights organisation based in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea, dedicated to supporting survivors of gender-based violence, advocating for the rights of persons with disabilities, and ensuring access to justice.

Founded in 2014 as a social justice initiative in a secondary school, MCPNGI has grown into a key player in human rights advocacy, working primarily with women and juveniles. They provide legal assistance, report on human rights violations, and deliver community education programs. In 2021, they established St Joan of Arc Safe House, offering 24/7 shelter and comprehensive support – including legal aid, counselling, and medical care – to thousands of survivors.

Entirely volunteer-run, MCPNGI continues to make a profound impact through its commitment to justice, dignity, and systemic change.
